On the sixth hour of set up M2W produced for me…
Six Social Media Walls
Tip: Social Media can be built into the experience of the event as an interactive piece of décor that will create more social media buzz.
Promotional Idea: Comic Con. Transport your guests through the current of knowledge to gain access to the world of the super natural.
Build a massive archway to act as a the main entrance to the event. It can be modeled to look like the arc reactor from Iron Man, or any other fanatical arch.
Combine the social media wall with projection mapping to allow your guests to travel from the physical world into the event world through the power of thought currently occurring inside the event. Multiple projectors encased inside the structure could project the URL stream. This would not only play well off the technology troupe common in Marvel. It would act as the perfect preview for those walking into the event. Guests would literally be inundated with information as tweets and pictures sent to the Comic Con hashtag would be projected in real time onto the arch. Their excitement would grow as they metaphorically gain the knowledge to enter this alternative universe and physically transition between the outside world and Comic Con.
On the “outside world”, folks unlucky enough to get tickets could add their own excitement as they witness the wonders of the event on this custom built billboard.
